We have performed at festivals, weddings, family reunions, craft fairs and parish functions, birthday parties. We have performed on the Riverwalk and at the Mercado in downtown San Antonio as well as locales as far north as the Dallas Area, Fredericksburg, and Killeen, as far south as Corpus Christi, and as far east as the Houston area, Lake Charles, LA and even a couple of times in Florida.

In December 2005 & 2006, two members of MARIACHI 'L' were finalists in the Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza Vocalist's Competition. Our oldest sister is pictured at the top of the "Welcome" page and our youngest brother, who in 2005 won first place in the Elementary / Middle School Category is pictured below. Also, in March 2006 our oldest sister won 1st place in the Amateur Division in the Teatro de Artes de Juan Seguin's Noche de Gala in Seguin, Texas.In March 2007, MARIACHI 'L' Vocalists were Award Winners: our 9 year old brother won 1^st place in the Amateur Division and our 16 year old sister won 3rd place in the Semi-Professional Division in the Teatro de Artes de Juan Seguin's Noche de Gala in Seguin, Texas. Again in February 2008, a MARIACHI 'L' Vocalist was an Award Winner: This time, our 17 year old sister won 3rd place in the Semi-Professional Division in the Teatro de Artes de Juan Seguin's Noche de Gala in Seguin, Texas. Also in April 2007, MARIACHI 'L' participated in the 1st Annual Fiesta del Lago, a high school level competition at Our Lady of the Lake University. The group competed against other groups from South Texas and in addition, each group competing featured a high school senior who competed for the 'All Star Award' based on vocal and instrumental abilities and showmanship. MARIACHI 'L' placed 3rd as a group and our oldest brother won the 'All Star Award' and scholarship.
